The WPCC is excited to introduce the WP Contributor Day Appreciation Campaign, a new initiative designed to support contributors who volunteer their time, energy, and expertise to lead a MakeWP team during a flagship WordCamp Contributor Day. This campaign is being launched in partnership with our valued sponsor GoDaddy, enhancing the GoDaddy WC Fellowship program announced in May.

Today, we are recognizing and thanking all of the individual contributors who have volunteered as Table Leads for WordCamp US Contributor Day 2024.

In addition to our gratitude, we are offering a stipend to each of the eight self-funded contributors serving as Contributor Day Table Leads at WCUS 2024. “Self-funded” means that these contributors are not paid by their employers to attend or participate in WCUS, nor are they full-time employees of any official WCUS sponsors.

A total of $2,000 will be distributed among the table leads who qualify and choose to accept their stipend. We deeply value their commitment and contributions to the WordPress ecosystem, and this campaign is one way we hope to demonstrate our appreciation.
